Stop Sopa – Stop American Censorship

17 Jan

Hi everyone,

To begin with, a late Happy New Year to all! Sadly it’s not one starting the best way. Yes, there are many causes out there worthy of our attention but what if suddenly we ended up not being able to know about them because of laws changing the way we access the internet? SOPA is such a thing, a gateway to put the internet under the control of those who want us to see the world through their eyes and reach the conclusions they want us to reach.
SOPA is about ending freedom and the right to share ideas among ourselves so STK is joining the protests and beckoning you to do so as well, to save the one place where we are free to decide and express what we believe in.

Stop Sopa now! Click here!

Share the information, let them know you care!

It’s pretty serious. I really hope it doesn’t turn into a law.

So do we. Let’s hope we show enough disagreement.

We can, we will have to and we will prevent ACTA. You need to get involved and if you have a blog, manage a online business or are a member of a discussion board, you need to allow your customers or other readers understand what is developing. These laws and regulations are not built to help to protect us or to preserve copyright but to close down any website which they decide to shut down.

Damned right. Let’s hope people keep doing so.
