There are hundreds upon hundreds of doujinshi (fan made comics although often created by professional artists under different alias or groups) about Ragnarok Online. Being the great fans that we are, we have a little number planned and waiting to get started.
But of course, other work calls and because this is going to be a storyboard heavy working week, we decided to show you two pages of the RO project which is so dear to us. Please don’t forget to check under the cut ^_^
Oh dear, these are in (unintelligible) Portuguese! Let’s hope it adds to the charm *smirk* After finishing the first drafts we usually tend to start the storyboard right away. It’s a great step to check if dialogues and intentions work well together and add some little quirks here and there. Many often we don’t really know how one character will be expressing himself through his face and body until we arrive to this stage. There are many kinds of storyboards, many tend to be as close to the final work as possible but in our case it’s very “scribbly”. What’s important is having a notion of what goes where so we can move on to drawing the pencils. ^_^
