Speed is the queen

One thing we all learn when working for gaming industry and other forms of entertainment which me and Sara do, is that speed is everything.  We’ve read a lot about it before and heard it from many other people but we never realized it until we experienced it for ourselves. Time is money and people hate to spend too much. Especially when the companies in your country are small.

As for me, I’m finally entering the world of what I call shapeless drawing XD I know there’s some other name out there but please indulge me here. What I basically do is apply some large areas of colour into the canvas and shape those into what I want. I never tried this before because I was never too good at going abstract but now, it’s coming to me naturally and it’s a great help. It’s especially wonderful to sketch over even and I’ll place an example here soon enough. Cheers!

Inking, new categories and sunday lazyness

Sundays are good to relax untilyougetabsorbedbyupcomingprojectsorz and work on stuff you should have done ages ago. I’m inking Orja for his profile but man is this going slow. My fault really, I decided to go all out in the little details. I’m having heaps of fun but also sweating like mad. I mean… Why did I decide to give volume to stitches? Because they are different from the ones on clothes, ah sure makes sense. No, I’m being an idiot!!! It’s too much! Well at least it’s over but man, I won’t be doing this any time soon!

On other news… today me and Sara are presenting you all with a new links category dedicated to other places we have and will have in the future so you can keep up to date with all our madness! Aaaand last but not least, my good awesome friend Nic-chan finally had the guts to join up with a friend and start blogging! She’s an amazing artist so be sure to check her stuff often!!

Late, late happy birthday to me!

*gasp* It lives! The blog still lives! Hard to believe it, heh? We’re so sorry, we’ll  blame it on the unrelenting, scorching heat but more realistically, we’ll blame it *again* on our lack of time.

So much that needs to be added here and we haven’t… so much so, I believe the next few posts will all be retrospective ones, starting with this one. Shameful as it is, one fox forget this year – among so many other things- to mark her birthday down on the blog’s calendar! And now, almost one month later, here she is finally writing it down.  Let’s all shout: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Ah, how true. One year older indeed but still the same crazy critter. I would have let the date slide by except… except I had a really great time ;A;! And I had wonderfulll presents!!! I finally have a big girl cellphone *chuckle* thanks to my sweet parents ^__^

You don’t know it but I’m a headphones freak. I mean, for me there’s nothing cooler, slicker or emanating smooth style as a nice pair of headphones. And my sweet, wonderful partner Sara got me just that ;A;!!! This brand is hardly avaiable in Portugal for starters and she even got to the trouble of finding me the ones with my favourite colour ;_; What else can a fox ask for? I know you hate shameless publicity Sara, but I know you’re reading this ehehe so again THANK YOU!!!! I’ll cherish them forever!
